  • The "now" loan can be either a Citizens Bank mortgage loan (our 7/1 ARM Special included) or a secondary market mortgage loan
  • Offer valid on "later" refinances to a fixed rate secondary market mortgage loan only

Items Needed to Apply

Following is a list of common items your buyers will want to have handy as they apply for a mortgage:

  • A copy of most recent paystub
  • Copies of last two years’ W-2s
  • Signed copies of complete individual federal tax returns for the last two years
  • Copy of two most recent bank statements showing direct deposit of retirement, annuity, or pension funds along with the name of the company providing the payment
  • Copy of two most recent bank statements showing history of closing funds and reserves
  • Copy of Homeowner’s Insurance policy declaration page

Available Assistance

Downpayment Plus
Through our partnership with the Federal Home Loan Bank of Chicago, we can offer down payment and closing cost assistance for income-eligible homebuyers. The assistance is provided in the form of a grant that is forgivable over a five-year period.
  • Maximum grant amount: $10,000 (increased from $6,000)
  • Homebuyer must contribute at least $1,000 of their own funds (cannot be a gift)
  • Homebuyer must complete approved education and counseling
  • Not limited to first-time homebuyers
  • Reservation is done online, approval within two weeks
