Start kids on the road to financial success – with fun.

Prioritizing saving over spending is a valuable life lesson, and one that takes time to learn. That’s why we created our money mascot, Ca$h the Dog, and a savings club just for kids, the Ca$h Savings Club. Open a savings account with your child and you open a young mind to learning about responsible money habits.

Ca$h Savings Club Member Perks

Deposit Rewards

Earn a paw stamp for each deposit. With 12 stamps collected, your child can choose one of the following:

  • $5 gift card to McDonald’s, Culver’s, or Dollar General
  • A small Ca$h the Dog plush animal*
  • A $5 donation to HAWS or Lakeland Animal Shelter

Ca$h Rescue Fair VIP Status

Receive a special invitation to our annual Ca$h the Dog Rescue Fair and enjoy VIP status (complete with official "Dog Petter" badge) at the rescue dog awareness event.

Wag Bag

Get everything your saver needs to start saving with his or her own Wag Bag, complete with a savings register, deposit stamp card, and a paw coin bank!

Ca$h Savings Club Account

Easy to Start

With only $10 required to open, and no minimum account balance or monthly maintenance fee, this account is ideal for savers up to 15 years old.

Watch Balances Grow

Kids can make their own deposits when they come into a branch, plus they will earn a competitive interest rate.

Continue the Journey

When kids reach high school age, we can help you find their next account – like our Smart Start Checking Account – for their next stage of learning.

Ready to help your young saver join the Ca$h Savings Club? Request an appointment to come see a Personal Banker today!

The Ca$h Savings Club Account is a joint account, meaning the child and joint account holder – an adult age 18+ – have equal rights to make transactions (including withdrawals). Unlike custodial accounts, which protect funds on behalf of a child, the funds in this account are equally owned by both account holders. A Personal Banker can help you determine if this account is the best choice for your situation.
